Information about the job position physiotherapist in Austria

  • Date of starting work: continuously throughout the year
  • Type of employment: full time or 3-4 weeks rotations
  • Salary: €2790/ gross/ month + + €200 meal allowance
    The physiotherapist also receives an annual 13th and 14th month salary, which is not subject to taxation
  • Working time: at least 40 hours a week
  • Accommodation: secured for free

Applicant requirements
  • Certificate or diploma and detailed transcript of subjects from secondary school or university, including the number of hours, translated into German
  • If you completed your education before 2004, it is necessary to provide confirmation of equivalence from the Slovak Ministry of Health
  • Certificate of practice, officially translated into German
  • Certificates from any additional physiotherapy courses you possess (especially "Manual Lymphatic Drainage" with a minimum of 50 hours)
  • Confirmation that you do not have an official ban on activities in your home country – this is arranged at the Chamber of Physiotherapists, known as the Issuance of Ethical Eligibility
  • Certificate of German language proficiency (certificate, school certificate or diploma) - B2
  • Certificate of medical fitness
  • A copy of the extract from the criminal record officially translated into German

  • Salary: 35,000 – 45,000 CZK/ gross/ month + + meal allowance
  • Working time: 100% / 80% working time

Job

The primary role of a physiotherapist is mainly to help with treatment in the rehabilitation of patients after an injury or in the rehabilitation of patients with various neurological diseases. Activities performed include, among others:

  • Conducting conditioning and breathing exercises
  • Movement and walking training
  • Zostavenie vhodného cvičebného programu
  • Examination of organ function
  • Provision of specialized treatment (massage, electrotherapy, inhalation therapy)
  • Monitoring the health of the patient
  • Active cooperation with the attending physician
