We are looking for a caregiver with intermediate German skills for a married couple in a family house in Obereisesheim (Postal Code 74172). The caregiver has their own room with a bathroom and internet, with free time arranged with the family. The senior woman (73 years, 64 kg, 170 cm) has schizophrenia (medically stabilized) and physical limitations, using a wheelchair. She requires assistance with dressing, toileting, showering, repositioning, medication administration, and hygiene care. Night care includes assistance twice with toileting and changing incontinence aids. Assistance with meals and the general running of the household (cleaning, laundry, cooking, small shopping). Providing companionship, conversations, and supervision during activities. The senior man (72 years, 100 kg, 178 cm) has schizophrenia (stabilized), is fully mobile and oriented, and does not require night care. He only requires supervision with medication, gentle assistance with hygiene, and support in preventing the lifting of heavy objects (prior to a hernia surgery). The caregiver oversees the daily routine of the senior woman, ensures household management, social interaction, and collaborates with the family.

Of course, you can also choose another transportation method that you prefer. The caregiver pays for the journey themselves, with the family in Germany contributing €150-200 towards it, and in Switzerland 380 CHF.
In Germany, the standard length of a work period is 4 to 6 weeks, while in Switzerland it's 2 months. In the case of temporary replacements, the periods are shorter.
The salary range in Germany is between €1200 and €2200 per month on a trade license. Compensation depends on the required language and other skills, the client's health condition, and whether care is provided for an individual or a married couple. In Switzerland, the salary ranges from 2460 to 2500 CHF per month on a Swiss employment contract.
In Germany, an intermediate to good knowledge of German is most commonly required, while some families are satisfied with basic knowledge and/or require knowledge of another language, such as Czech or Russian.
