A caregiver is sought for a 10-year-old boy with a disability, living in a foster family in a smaller town (ZIP code 52428). The boy weighs 40 kg, is 140 cm tall, and primarily relies on a wheelchair, although he can move on foot with difficulty, as he limps and has limited stability. He is very strong and may experience seizures. Securing him in the wheelchair is permitted if necessary for his safety. He has a communication disorder – he could speak but almost never expresses himself verbally. However, he can indicate what he wants. Sometimes he behaves destructively (breaking objects) and tries to assert himself physically. He is entirely dependent on assistance for hygiene and using the toilet. He needs help with bathing, supervision during cooking, and overall support in daily activities. The boy attends a special school. The caregiver will assist with household tasks (cleaning, laundry, cooking, shopping) while also supporting the family in caring for the boy – specific tasks will be agreed upon with the family. The household consists of four people – a married couple and two foster children (10 and 7 years old). There is also a dog present. Night work is not required, only occasionally by agreement (e.g., when the family wants to go to the cinema). The caregiver will be provided with separate accommodation – a rented apartment with its own internet connection. Free time and work schedules will be arranged individually.
